In Art, we have been practicing our sketching skills and experimenting with shading and tinting. We mixed in black paint to colour to make a colour darker (shading) and we mixed in white paint to make colours lighter (tinting). We had to be careful that we had good control of our paintbrushes and good organisation with our mediums (art tools).

In our upcoming DT lessons, we will be planning, designing and making moving pictures. We looked at a range of existing books with moving pictures and explored levers, slides and axis.
