WRITING IN YEAR 2
Year 2 have been working very hard in their writing lessons so far this term. We have recently been learning about warning stories, like Little Red Riding Hood.
She was told not to dilly dally on the way to Grandma's but she didn't listen and the wolf tricked her! We have practised telling the story of Little Red Riding Hood as a class with actions to help us remember what happens.
We have then used the story to think of our own ideas for a warning story and we have had a go at making a plan before we write our own stories.
We have also learnt lots about character descriptions and setting descriptions to help us write exciting stories. We have all been trying our best to make sure our sentences are sequenced and punctuated correctly.
