SUNFLOWERS
In Year 2, we will be learning about plants and what they need to grow. Last lesson, we all planted our own sunflower seeds. We will be keeping a diary to record our observations of its growth over the next 5 weeks!
For some of us, it was the first time we have planted seeds! First, we added some soil into our plastic cups. We then added our seeds and put some soil over them. After that we added a little bit of water to help the seed grow.
We decided to place our plants by our class windows so the plants could get as much sunlight as it can. After a few days, we observed some roots sprouting from the seeds in some of our plastic pots. We can’t wait to see how our plants grow!
