To continue with the children's online safety learning they started in Year 1, the children this week will be meeting up again with Jessie and her friends Mo and Tia.

We are currently learning about adding and subtracting in maths.  Parent/carers it would be wonderful if you could practice counting, adding ten and ones and subtracting tens and ones from any number under 100 with your child at home.

This week we made kites and then took them onto the field to see if they would fly.

On Monday 24th February we visited Woburn Safari Park and we had a fantastic time.

Wow! What a busy few weeks we have had in Year 2! We had Joshua, an African drumming teacher, come and visit us. He taught us how to keep a beat and we had to follow his, listening very carefully to how and when he changed the beat and copy it back. We had lots of fun and it was incredibly loud...

Last Friday an amazing play bus arrived at school for KS1. We were so excited to have a go and we had so much fun playing on it.   

Every Tuesday we go swimming at Trinity Leisure in Bedford. The facilities are brilliant and the changing rooms are always lovely, warm and clean. The pool is warm, even if the water can be a little chilly! 

We had a great time at our Fabulous Finish picnic.

In Year 2 science we have been investigating which type of paper makes the best bridge.

We had a lovely afternoon yesterday at Bedford Modern taking part in lots of different sports activities.
