We discussed where the porridge had come from and why it was here. Then we used our 5 senses to describe our porridge. We thought hard about different adjectives we could use to describe how the porridge looked, smelt, tasted, sounded and felt.

We then wrote some brilliant sentences describing the porridge. After this, we read ‘The Magic Porridge Pot’ as a class and story mapped it together. We have had lots of fun thinking about what our own magic porridge pot would look like!
