We found that a peg, nail and a paper clip were magnetic. Then we went on a hunt around the classroom to see what else we could find. Miss Dowsett challenged us to get a paperclip out of a glass of water without getting our hands or our magnet wet.

We tried some different ways like putting all our magnets together and holding it above the water but it was still at the bottom of the glass! Then we realised we could use the magnet on the side of the glass and drag the paperclip to the top. We were amazed! Then we had a go at making our own magnet games.
