We have made a fantastic start to Year One. We started with our ready to learn week which saw us playing lots of team-building games, getting to know each other games and sharing exciting things we did over the summer.

Year 1 had a fantastic time competing in this years KS1 sports day events.

Shabbat is a special day for Jewish people. It is a day of rest and celebration that starts on Friday evening and ends on Saturday evening. Let's find out more about this special day!

We have had a fantastic start to the new year in Year 1. The children have particularly enjoyed their art lessons this term.    

Wow! What a fantastic time we had in the woods- our first Year 1 school trip!  We really enjoyed searching for trolls and the Gruffalo!

We have had the most exciting start to Year 1! This week we got ready to learn by joining in with lots of fun activities such as construction, sketching, ball games, self-portraits and painting.

In Year 1 this term we have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh. We have learnt he is a Dutch artist who painted portraits and landscapes

This term we have been getting very creative in art.

In science this term we have been learning about different materials. In a recent science lesson we explored magnets.
