Year 4 had a wonderful 3 day stay in sunny Norfolk at the Hilltop Outdoor Learning Centre. They participated in a range of activities: Tree Top Trail, Archery, Crate Stacking, Rock Pooling, Air Jump and an Assault Course.
It has been such a lovely year this year. Mrs Tellett and Miss Tyrrell have really loved watching the children grow and make such amazing progress in their learning. The children have made some great progress in their swimming, with many of them now progressing to swimming without tummy bands.
So far in art this term, we have focused on the artist Barbra Hepworth. The children started off by researching the artist and exploring her art work by finding out facts about her life. They were given the task of justifying what they liked about her art work and what they didn’t like so much...
It was the day of the sports competition and there were lots of other schools there. The children from the two Year 4 classes worked super hard during the competition and helped us to come in 6th place out of 16! We were so proud :)

In Year 4 this term, we have been doing golf! In our lessons we have been completing a carousel of activities to help us improve our different strokes and we have been using different clubs to do this. We have been using a driver and a putter in our lessons as well as golf tees and PE friendly golf...
On Wednesday 26th April we went on a faith tour in Queens Park. When we first went to school we all put our high-vis jackets and were very excited about the day ahead. Then we went on a huge coach to the other side Bedford.
This month Year 4 went on a trip to the STEM Centre.
In the morning we got on our coach and went to Stevenage and when we arrived the staff were there to meet us to give us a quick briefing about the centre.
