On the 8th May 1945, VE day took place in Britain. People of Britain celebrated by dancing, having street parties and wearing blue, red and white. They were celebrating the end of World War II.
This week, we have been learning all about the famous explorer, Ernest Shackleton. He sailed to Antarctica with his crew on a ship called The Endurance. In groups, we worked together to create freeze frames about life on the ship.
We have had the best time in Hilltops which is in Norfolk. When we arrived, we were super excited about what was going to happen over the next few days. We all shared a room with our friends which was so fun!
