Every morning my class have a 10 minute run around our school running track.

We have been learning about the book Cogheart. Recently we wrote a diary entry about the characters. 

We have been really lucky with the weather in Bedford for the last few weeks and as well as starting a vegetable garden at school lots of our children have been planting and growing in their gardens

To start off our new ‘Keen to be Green’ topic, Year 5 have been making plastic bottle ‘eco bricks’ as a way to begin to understand how alternative plastic waste can have a positive impact on our lives.

This term we have been learning all about the Victorians! In order to find out how the Victorians used to live we took a trip to the Higgins Museum in Bedford where we travelled back in time!

Year 5 have had a busy couple of weeks with a clay workshop and a lunch out.  Sophia and Kayleigh have written a blog about the experiences. 

This week, for our topic ‘Ancient Egyptians’ we have put our creative and artistic skills to the test!
