We enjoyed listening to the story 'Around the World with Max and Lemon'. We thought about the different temperature and weather that each country experiences and thought about appropriate clothing to wear in each country. The children realised that not every country experiences the same weather as us. 

The children made a Passport Diary to record what they had learnt about each place. We thought about jungles, mountains, deserts, The Arctic and the Caribbean. The children's favourite place to learn about was the Carribean, we enjoyed listening to steel pan drum music which made us feel happy and dance to the music. We were fortunate enough to experience playing the steel pan drums. The children listened carefully and followed the notes to learn to play the tune to the song Baby Shark. We had lots of fun!
